How the Cycle of Abuse terrorizes and controls abuse victims with emotional, pyschological and physical abuse.
Victims can be male or female. Males are at greater risk for being victims of abuse by their partners due to lack of awareness surrounding female abusers. The stereotype is that men are abusive, period. When this role is reversed, it is difficult if not impossible for males to recognize that they are victims of partner abuse be it emotional abuse or domestic violence against them.
